Take a nature walk. Have your child collect rocks, leaves, flowers, or other objects found during the trek. Use the Internet or a book from the library to identify the type of leaf or some of the minerals found in the rock. Practice matching the picture with the real object will help your child’s visual discrimination skills develop further.
